Here is how things work. In and around Sarajevo there are plenty of free green areas, should you desire to place a tent or trailer, but the best solution would be if you would made an booking (if available) on the private property especially designed for such a purpose. Unfortunately Sarajevo authorities have not yet recognized this need, so it is hard to find thing like that. For now only thing visitors can do is find the right spot and place the tent, anywhere.

Here we recommend a few interesting spots for placing a tent*:

- Betanija

- Trebević mountain

- Barice area

- Area near Goats Bridge and Dariva

- Vrelo Bosne and Stojčevac area.

Be sure to understand that it is not 100% safe to do such a thing at non-meant-to-be areas but it could come in handy.
