Jews have come to Sarajevo, I would say long time ago, in 16th century, and in the Ottoman Empire were equal to Muslims, so that is why they were free to build such an amazing temples and structures in Sarajevo.

Haggadah

Here we mention those most important ones:

• “Il kal grandi” (the Old Temple),
• “Il kal muevu” (the New Temple),
• The large Sephardic Temple,
• The Ashkenazi Temple and the La benevolencija building;
• Jewish Cemetery, as one of the largest in Europe.
• Haggadah.

Today the Jewish population in Sarajevo is not as it was during the Ottomans, due the later happening in the history (World War I, World War II), but the heritage they have left to Sarajevo is priceless.
