Mehmed Mejli Guranija Kuranije-Kurani, was born in Sarajevo in 1713, and died in Travnik in 1781.

He was buried at Doc next to the tomb of Ibranim Dedo.

He was reputed as an excellent poet and writer of chronograms. Also a good calligrapher.

He had written lyrical and occasional songs. He comes from repectable family, educated and knowledgeable, excellent poet so during his time nobody in Bosnia could compare him. He was a narrator of Shariat court. Some data suggest that he was Shaykh of Mustafa Pashas tekke in Sarajevo. H

is work mainly contains very rich subtly worded verses of Tarihs, by which he marks every significant event in his life. Hoewer, he is a poet of tesavvuv-lyrical poetry, told in language of symbols and allegories.

He wrote many poems and left behind medzma in which he left many verses.
