In Sarajevo; Coffee and Newspapers

Sarajevo is a city full of very nice coffee shops, coffee bars, etc.

Here we shall mention only quite a few good, good cafés. Perhaps the best combination coffee and newspapers.

 

Luxurious café bar and cake shop Vatra, right in the main Sarajevo street, Ferhadija street.

Next on the list near the Drvenija bridge, café Delikatesna Radnja. It one of the rare cafés where sun shines most of the day.

We go on, in the old town try out, oriental interior, Dibek café, where they would serve excellent coffee and hookah if desired.

In the old town another three, café El Kasbah, café Sova and café Halvat. Three places very much worth visiting and trying a their delicacy offerings.

Viennese Café in the new (2009) open five star hotel Europe. The oldest hotel in Sarajevo.

In the Strossmayerova street, the most popular coffee street in Sarajevo, you can give a shot any of the café bars there, such as: Central Café, Café Kiborg, Café Quadro, etc.

 

We mention that those are just basic ones, for something more read on.

At Grbavica, famous Sarajevo settlement you can try the most famous café bar there Sandwich and Café bar Aquarius.

Just next to Aquarius, another valuable one Incognito, two places very much worth visiting.

 

Baghdad Café, a place designed in the spirit of ancient Eastern culture, just in the old town. They will amaze you with perfection of details on the interior design, and offer as well.

 

Just in front of the Cathedral, at Fra Grge Martića square, very nice café, made for good morning or day coffee, café bar Alfonso.

 

Or try couple steps lower than Cathedral, place Michelle. One of the most popular places for coffee, newspapers, friend chat, etc.

 

Café von Habsburg, place just couple of meters away from National Theater, will offer you Austro-Hungarian interior, great service, and great coffee.

 

Also, across the National Theatre café bar Opera. Nice place as well.
