ABOUT FAMILY GLOĐO AND SVRZO
The Svrzina House is one of the most typical of the preserved examples of the Ottoman architecture in Bosnia and Herzegovina. The house existed as early as 1640. It was stricken by fire in 1697, and reconstructed during the 18th century.
The residential ensemble is divided into selamluk and haremluk. The haremluk was a part meant to serve only for private and family life. The reception of male guests and all service parts of the house, including the dwelling parts for domestic attendants, were in the part called selamluk.
