We must say in Sarajevo not only famous are Soccer, Basketball and Handball, there are some other sports that are taking place in Sarajevo citizens mind.

Due to the unfortunate aggression on Bosnia and Herzegovina, a lot of people were injured or being somehow physically handicapped. One of the way to put that behind was to play some sport, and the sport that mostly had boomed was Sitting Volleyball, the sport that regularly places B&H National team as champions of almost any kind of competition these heroic sportsman's play. 

The clubs that are "giving away" the World best players of this sport are "Spid" and "Fantomi".

These clubs are founded during or just after the Siege of Sarajevo ended, and today are the most successful sport societies in Sarajevo, with most valuable results.

The Martial Arts are another type of sport which is every year acquiring many medals and awards by many good fighter. Judo, Tae-kwon-do, Karate and others are very much represented amongst other sports.

Other than these sport achievements, others are not as bright as these are, but still very much played on recreational or professional level.

Volleyball, Tennis, Skiing (especially during the winter time), recently Golf, Swimming and Water polo, Athletics, Climbing and many others are really taking much care by the many residents of Sarajevo and Bosnia and Herzegovina as well.

Very much popular is Chess (by many people pure sport). The sport that had produced some of the World finest players, under etiquette "Made in Bosnia and Herzegovina", and "Chess Club Bosna" is every year hosting the International Championship, where the World best players are taking place in.
