In Sarajevo there are two bus stations (Main bus station and East Sarajevo bus station at Lukavica settlement).  Main Bus Station is in the close center of the city, only 3 km from old town of Sarajevo, Baščaršija. Majority of the buses from the whole Bosnia and Herzegovina and international lines arrive to Main Bus station.

East Sarajevo Bus Station is around 11 km distance from the Old Town (Baščaršija). Majority of lines from Serbia, Republic of Srpska entity, Montenegro etc, will arrive and departure to/from the Istočno Sarajevo (East Sarajevo/Lukavica) Bus station.
